AI Skills are saved capabilities that you activate on purpose in AI Chat – instead of typing out the same instruction over and over.
A skill bundles knowledge and process into a reusable capability that you call up with "/".
AI Skills are currently in beta (marked as such in the tool). You may still run into the occasional bug – we'd love to hear your feedback.
How do I activate a skill in chat?
Call it up with "/" in AI Chat/Assistant and use it right away. Only one skill can be active at a time – Agents (see below), on the other hand, can have several skills assigned at once.
How do I create my own skill?
You have two options:
Generate with AI: Upload one or more files and optionally add extra context. The AI automatically extracts a complete, saveable skill from them. Example: you upload a "Best Practice SEO Whitepaper" – the AI generates a skill from it that lets you apply the described approach automatically going forward.
Directly in chat: You can also simply ask AI Chat to create a new skill or edit an existing one.
Where do I get ready-made skills?
The Marketplace offers a large selection of ready-made skills that you can import with a single click.
What does this have to do with AI Agents?
Skills can later be assigned to Agents – so an Agent gets exactly the capabilities it needs for its task.
