Step 1: Generation of the contentbird Iframe link

Before you can integrate a plugin from contentbird into the Staffbase app, you need to generate a contentbird Iframe link. This can be easily created in contentbird Convert after configuring the desired content format (quiz, betting game, poll, advent calendar, etc.). You can find a detailed description of how to generate an iframe under:

Step 2: Staffbase - Embedded pages

The embedding of the link generated in step 1 is done in the backend of Staffbase. Marked in the Staffbase app by "Administration".

Once in the backend, the Staffbase plugin "Embedded pages" is required. This can be selected via the menu item "Add plugin" (1.) and set up via "Install" (2.). If the plugin has been installed successfully, a new menu item (3.) appears in the left navigation.

Step 3: Where do I integrate the contentbird Iframe link?

Via the menu item "Embedded pages" (1.) you reach the "Pages" menu, where you have to create a new page for the respective plugin. Via "Add page" (2.) a new dialog opens, in which the title of the plugin, as well as the contentbird-iframe link (3.) can be entered.

For integration into the Staffbase app, please always select the "HTTPS variant". (Tip: Simply go over the link with the mouse, right-click and select "Copy link").

Then click on "Add page".

Step 4: Publish the plugin

After you have inserted the iframe link, you can click on "Publish embedded page". The plug-in will then be visible to your collaborators.

Note: For the betting game a separate registration is necessary, because the betting game needs a player name as well as the confirmation of the player name.

Step 5: Final campaign configuration

Now you need the url where your employees can see the included format. This usually looks like this:

Please extend this link after the domain with an openlink/:

This url must now be entered in the campaign under "Edit details" in "Integration > URL". If you have defined different "Embedded Pages" to support multiple languages, the correspondingly adjusted links will go into the corresponding fields in "Localized URL". In "URL" you simply use the link to your main language.

Now your format should be ready for your collaborators.
