Overview
To publish content directly from contentbird to LinkedIn, your project must be connected to a LinkedIn company page.
Important limitations of the LinkedIn API
Only company pages can be connected (no personal profiles)
Posts are only distributed to the company pageโs followers
Only one company page per project can be connected
Only one image or one video per post is allowed
No image/video if a content URL is included

New features (since March 31, 2026)
The LinkedIn integration has been extended with:
Thumbnail selection for posts
Ability to pin the first comment

1) Initial LinkedIn connection
The connection is made via your personal LinkedIn account, which must have access to a company page.
Navigation in contentbird:
Administration โ Projects
Select project
Open the Integrations tab
Select LinkedIn and start the connection
Steps:
Log in with your LinkedIn account
Grant access to contentbird
Select one of your available company pages
Save your selection
๐ After successful connection, LinkedIn features become available in the tool.
Important note
Removing the LinkedIn connection can affect multiple projects:
If your LinkedIn account is used across several projects, the connection will be removed there as well.
2) Reauthorization
The connection must be renewed every 365 days
contentbird provides a renewal link one week in advance
Click the link and confirm the connection again
