Overview

For contentbird to access data from Google Search Console, the connected Google account must have elevated permissions.

Required permissions

The Google account must:

  • Be the owner of the property
    โ€‹or

  • Have full permissions

๐Ÿ‘‰ Only with these permissions can contentbird retrieve all relevant SEO data.

Where are permissions managed?

In Google Search Console:

๐Ÿ“ Settings โ†’ Users and permissions

What if you donโ€™t have permission?

  • Contact the property owner

  • Request either:

    • Owner access

    • Full permissions

Why are these permissions required?

Only with full access can contentbird import the following data:

  • Keyword rankings

  • Impressions

  • Clicks

  • Click-through rate (CTR)

Important note

Limited user permissions are not sufficient to ensure complete and accurate data transfer.

Additional information

You can find more details about permission management in the official Google documentation:

Conclusion

Full permissions are essential for a working Search Console integration. Make sure your Google account has the required access to fully utilize SEO data in contentbird.
