Important Note: Reconnect Your Profiles

All existing social media profiles are no longer valid after the update and must be reconnected.

What this means in practice:

  • Only one profile per network and profile type can be linked (e.g., 1 Facebook Page, 1 Instagram Account, 1 LinkedIn Company Page)

  • For multiple profiles of the same type, each must be added separately to the project

  • Drafts and already published posts remain unchanged

  • Scheduled posts will only go live once the corresponding profile is reconnected

  • Once a profile is linked, posts are automatically assigned correctly

What happens to existing social posts?

All existing social posts remain intact. Drafts and published posts retain their status. Scheduled posts are saved but will only appear on connected profiles or pages once they are reconnected. Once a profile or page is linked, it is automatically assigned to the corresponding posts. If nothing is reconnected yet, the profile selection field remains empty. Scheduled posts will go live at the intended time once the connection is established.

“Publish Now” button:

Posts are now published immediately, and you receive instant confirmation whether everything was successful.

How to Reconnect Profiles

  1. Navigate to: Management → Projects → Select Project

  2. At the top of the project, open the new “Social Profiles” section

  3. Click “Create Profile”

  4. Then select “Manage Integrations”

  5. Choose the desired channel (Instagram, Facebook, or LinkedIn)

  6. You will be redirected and need to confirm permissions

  7. Once completed, the profile is successfully connected

Example Scenarios

Project with multiple LinkedIn profiles:
If a project includes multiple LinkedIn accounts (e.g., 3 personal profiles and 1 company page), each profile must be added separately. Scheduled posts are automatically assigned correctly once all profiles are connected.

Scheduled Instagram post for a not-yet-linked page:
A scheduled post remains visible but will only be published once the page is reconnected.

Conclusion

This update gives you much greater control over social media posts – from new post types and thumbnails to alt text. Additional features, such as location tagging, TikTok, and Pinterest support, are coming soon.

Action required: Reconnect all profiles first to ensure no scheduled posts are lost.
