Introduction

With the new design, contentbird has become clearer, more modern, and more efficient. Many features have been restructured, simplified, or made more accessible—without disrupting familiar workflows.


Navigation & structure

What’s new?

  • Two navigation views (collapsible & expandable, preference is saved)

  • “Asset Management” is now called Files

  • “Content Ideas Pipeline” and “Content Pipeline” are now grouped under Creation

  • “Content Ideas Pipeline” is now called Backlog / Ideas


Header & orientation

What’s improved?

  • Clearer display of the project filter

  • Centralized help via the question mark (changelog, feedback, support, login)


AI Assistant

What’s new?

  • Responses are generated live (streaming)

  • Placeholders can be inserted directly via the + next to the chat

  • Chat history & new chat are visible at the top

  • AI image generation can be activated via the +


Creation & pipelines

What’s new?

  • Archive function for content (including restore option)

  • Archived content is excluded from analysis

  • Export available in the top right

  • Color-coded status display (customizable)

  • New Progress column (shows workflow status)

  • Improved navigation in wide tables (hover info)


Content details

What’s new?

  • All functions & tabs are now above the editor

  • Tools & modes grouped into dropdowns

  • Favorites feature for quick access

  • New editing mode & versioning


SSO login

What’s new?

  • Login with Google or Microsoft

  • Admins can:

    • Enforce SSO

    • Allow specific domains for SSO


General improvements

  • New style for bulk actions

  • Action column is now on the right & sticky


Conclusion

The redesign brings:

  • Better clarity

  • Faster workflows

  • More flexibility in day-to-day work

Many features are now exactly where you expect them—clearer, more structured, and more intuitive.
